North Florida Wedding Florist
Savannah of The Shindig Co. brought us to the most charming intimate autumn wedding. The bride was initially interested in incorporating pampas grass into her florals, but was open to our design suggestions. We decided to incorporate lots of dried textural elements from our collection, as well as dried grasses in golden earthy tones to pull the design together.
For the ceremony, we designed a golden grassy meadow surrounding the couple to echo the natural landscape of the family land where they exchanged their vows.
The bride’s bouquet echoed the ceremony design with a base of dried pennycress layered with fragrant garden roses, creamy zinnias from our own cutting garden, and fluffy grass accents.
For the reception, we designed one continuous mini meadow for the head table of dried grasses, pennycress, dried oats, tuberose, golden roses, chrysanthemums, and dried yarrow. The meadow was accented with magnolia seed pods which tied in with the black taper candles and black rimmed chargers. All of the elements combined made for a cozy, romantic, elevated and inviting day. We’re so happy with how the overall aesthetic came together for this event!
